Program Goal
At ARTex Society, we believe that everyone has the right to be able to explore their passions, no matter their socioeconomic background. Since computer science requires expensive hardware and programming can be a hard field to get into, we provide all necessary resources to learn CS.

Outreach & Marketing
I recruited volunteers, emailed to city libraries and communities, prepared introduction sheets, made cold calls to introduce the program and visited libraries and communities in person.
Eventually, I established a long-term relationship with a community to provide a boardroom for us to host our program on-site.
I prepared advertisements, and put posts on news papers, parking lot, community centers boards, elementary schools and junior high school boards.

Prepare Lessons
With registered students aged 9 to 15 years old, I prepared all lessons for Introductory and Intermediate classes for:
– Python
– Java
– C++
I spent more than 7 hours per each class to ensure classes provide fun yet constructive lessons that build upon what the students had previously learned.
I have created more than 2000 tutorial slides in total.

Teaching
I spend at least 4 hours each week alone teaching, providing the students with quality lessons and practice time each class.
I provided the students great practice for each class.
I was awarded by the community for Excellence Service.

Cotinuity
My students have been continued from Introductory to Intermediate classes for Python, Java and & C++.

Feedback
》I took any suggestions on what I could add or improve about my lessons. All students were extremely satisfied and have continued in the program.
》Some students invited their friends to join right after their first class.
》Some students proudly applied their newly acquired coding skills to realize their projects.
》Through my specially designed courses, parents are very happy and grateful to see their children learning and mastering high-tech knowledge at a very young age.
